Why We Care

Recently, several of our families, friends and staff have all had to deal with cancer. Since December 2007, we have been near 2 deaths from cancer, one relapse, and one new diagnosis of a rare form of Kidney cancer in a 5 year old girl – a kindergarten friend of one of our daughters.

One Person Can’t Make a Difference

But all of us can. In 2005 (the most recent year I could find) The American Cancer Society spent 70% of funds collected on Research, Prevention, Patient Support, Detection/Treatment.
